NorseAtlas is the whole Norse corpus as a single connected map. You explore it, you walk it journey by journey, and the threads that run between the sagas, the Eddas and the chronicles light up as you go. Here is the whole loop.
The corpus isn’t a reading list — it’s a web. Open the atlas and the journeys float as a living constellation you can turn and fly into: gods and heroes, feuds and voyages, drawn together by the people, places and themes they share. The more you walk, the more of the map comes alive.
A journey is a guided walk through a saga, a myth, or a thread that runs across several. It tells the story in clear modern prose — and at every turn, it shows you the exact passage of the original medieval text it rests on.
NorseAtlas never paraphrases the sources away. Each step of a journey carries inline source-flags — tap one and the genuine verbatim text of the saga or poem opens beside the narrative, in its public-domain translation. The story frames and explains; the medieval source stands behind it, cited and intact. You always know exactly what the original says.

This is what one connected corpus makes possible. The cursed gold runs from the gods in the Eddas, through the dragon-slayer Sigurd, into the doom of the Niflungs — across poems and prose alike. Odin walks out of Eddic verse and into a Danish historian’s Latin. Ragnar Lodbrok is remembered one way in the Norse sagas and another in Saxo’s chronicle.
